April 8th – 15th, 2013. ZNOJMO, CZECH REPUBLIC
Natalia and Yves, two of our collaborators, participated last April in the training course Empowering Communities: Sharing, Learning, Implementing.
The training was funded by the Youth in Action Program, and organized by Youth Included
, a non-profit organization based in Prague, managed by a team of academics, youth workers and experts in the field of youth work, intercultural cooperation and diversity promotion. For 7 days, 32 active and experienced youth workers from 16 different countries took part in this experience in Znojmo, one of the most significant towns on the Czech-Austrian border.
The project aims to encourage and empower youth workers, social workers, community workers, trainers and NGOs to explore the community capacities, to share the best practices of community inclusion into public and social life, to learn the non-conflict and sustainability approaches while working on the projects.
Since our beginning, i Collective works within the communities we are part of, so this training will strengthen our skills and expand our network for future collaborations.
